What We Do
We organise various projects that cover important subjects like science, math, and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written, spoken, reading and understanding). These projects happen all year round and are designed to open the minds of the children and develop a love for learning and passion for being the best that they can be.
Projects
Young Scientific Explorers (YSE)
YSE encourages Tamil primary school students to be inquisitive in learning science in a 'fun' and creative way. It exhibits interesting experiments to students and exposes them to practical approaches in tackling science related problems.

Aims
The project aims to introduce science to the young in a more ‘fun’ manner in order to help them develop a love for the subject and to be creative and innovative in their thinking of science.
Objectives
To conduct simple, yet interesting experiments for Standard 5 students, at 20 Tamil schools each in Selangor, Perak and Melaka; with a total of 8 different experiments conducted in each school.
To bring all the participating students to the National Science Centre (NSC) at least once, and explain to them some 10 exhibits or displays found there.
To disseminate the findings to all Tamil schools and emphasise the importance of ‘hands-on’ experience.
To encourage these schools to take part in Science Fairs at the National level.
Evaluation
The impact of this project will be evaluated by having essay competitions which will be held among the 2400 students from 60 Tamil schools, after the completion of this programme. Quizzes are also being organised for the last 10 schools who attended the visit to NSC. The data obtained will be assessed to further improve and enhance the effectiveness of this project. Besides that, evaluation forms will also be sent to all 60 schools participating in this programme.
