What We Do
We organise various projects that cover important subjects like science, math, and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written, spoken, reading and understanding). These projects happen all year round and are designed to open the minds of the children and develop a love for learning and passion for being the best that they can be.

Young Nature Campers (YNC)
Rapid development and proliferation of urban spaces, while on the whole has been beneficial, has deprived our children of discovering the wonders of nature. This is particularly true for children of the urban poor. Knowledge of our environment is essential, without which, children will not appreciate their role in human survival.

YNC is a 2-day/1-night camp conducted in association with the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS), using their environmental training facilities at the Nature Education Centre (NEC) located in the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM), Kepong, and at the Kuala Selangor Nature Park (KSNP), Selangor. In 2007 we spread our wings to Bukit Hijau, Kedah and Cameron Highlands, Pahang.

In 2009 we have successfully conducted a total of 29 camps involving 31 schools benefiting  1124 students. Due to tremendous support from Tamil schools, we have reached out our camps to 2 more venues which are Ulu Yam & Bukit Cahaya. We target to conduct 35 camps in 2010.

Aims and Objectives
This camp was specially formulated to help our Tamil school students mainly, those in Standards 4 and 5, to create an earnest awareness towards nature, making them discover and inculcate the feeling of love and care for mother nature. They are taught how to value its vast resources and protect it. They also learn reasons to respect nature and the very simple steps they can take to preserve and conserve our natural heritage.
