What We Do
We organise various projects that cover important subjects like science, math, and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written, spoken, reading and understanding). These projects happen all year round and are designed to open the minds of the children and develop a love for learning and passion for being the best that they can be.
Projects
Drama, Theatre and Arts (DTA)
The Tamil Foundation and Kuala Lumpur Indian Theatre and Arts Association or more popularly known as Fenomena Seni Pentas, under the patronage of Mr S.T. Bala, jointly organised and presented the Malay Drama competition among Tamil Schools in the Klang Valley from 9th to 18th March 2007. Eleven Tamil schools participated in this contest. In 2008, it has expanded to national level.

In 2009, 18 Tamil schools all over Malaysia in this Malay Drama Competition. It was conducted in all states and the prize giving ceremony was held at Angkasa Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 9 May 2009.  A special training on acting has been conducted for the teachers on 23 till 25 November 2009 at the Selesa Inn, Kuala Lumpur. This training was conducted by Mr. S.T. Bala.

In March 2010, we will once again organize the Malay Drama Competition nationwide.

The competition will be held in the following states:
a.
Selangor, Perak, Johor, Kedah and Perlis; 3 teams per state, making a total of 12 teams.
b.
Penang, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan & Wilayah Persekutuan; 2 teams per state, making a total of 8 teams.
In May 2010, the National level competition will be held in Kuala Lumpur, during the school holidays.

The Kuala Lumpur Indian Theatre and Arts Association (Fenomena Seni Pentas), will bear all expenses incurred in organising this competition, including the prizes. The Tamil Foundation will only be in charge of secretarial services.

We hope more Tamil schools will take part in this year's competitioon and bring out the talent and creativity hidden in our Tamil school students.
